Teddy Kofman

Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture, The Cooper Union

Teddy Kofman is an architectural designer based in New York. He currently teaches architecture at The Cooper Union and at Pratt Institute. Teddy’s academic and design work has focused on the urban environment, looking at urban expansion and transformation in particular. Working at multiple scales, Teddy work has ranged from leading student investigations into navigational systems for visually impaired pedestrians in NYC, to conducting research on urbanization and the urban -rural relationship, culminating in the recent symposium In the Shadow of the Megacity. Teddy’s ongoing and completed design projects include performing art facilities, galleries and exhibitions. Teddy is a graduate of the Irwin S.Chanin School of Architecture and has previously studied in Tel Aviv University.
