Jared Green is a Brooklyn-born poet who is a lover of life and all things hip hop. He is a recent graduate of Kingsborough Community College and a former Urban Word Youth Leadership Board Member, as well as a step coach. Jared has performed at places such as the Apollo Theater, Brooklyn Public Library and was a finalist for the national Raise Up Project, which highlighted poetry addressing the issue of high school dropouts in the United States.
