I help artists make more money so they can make more art.  

I got interested in professional development for artists when I was living in NYC, and talked to a lot of artists who were struggling to do their creative work and pay their rent. I was already an arts entrepreneur myself, having started several arts programs and a non-profit theatre company, so I started studying arts entrepreneurship and business development, and taught workshops.

In 2016 I moved to Waco, TX, to start a professional development program for artists at Creative Waco, the local arts agency. After teaching one-off classes for three years, I developed an arts business incubator (funded by the Emily Hall Tremaine Foundation and several local funders) and worked intensively with 25 artists over a two-year period.

My husband and I are now planning to move back east to be closer to our families, so I'm walking my talk and developing a new business to teach entrepreneurial mindset and business skills to college students in the fine and performing arts. I also direct plays.
